I am hosting a benefit in April of 2010 that will raise money to find a cause and cure for Pulmonary Fibrosis. This is a lung disease that causes the air sacs in the lungs to gradually turn to scar tissue. The scar tissue then makes it nearly impossible for the lungs to transfer oxygen into the blood stream. The event that I am hosting will be an art auction. All the pieces that are donated by the artists will be auctioned off in a silent auction. Each artist will have a small bio and photo with website or contact information. It is a good cause that will allow an artist to network and market to a new audience. I am currently looking for artists who would be willing to donate artwork. I know that the success of this event can not happen without the talent and passion of creative individuals.
